Çıktığı ilk günlerde birçok rekor kıran Apex Legends, 70 milyon kullanıcı sınırını aştı. Respawn Entertainment’ın iyi yönetimi ve oyunun oynaması bedava olması bu rakama ulaşılmasındaki en büyük etkenler arasında yer alıyor.
Oyuna battle pass yöntemiyle içerik ekleme yöntemini benimseyen Apex Legends, üç sezon içerisinde oyuna üç yeni kahraman eklerken yeni silahlar ve yeni harita da oyuncuları cezbetti.
EA ve Valve’ın yeni iş birliği ile birlikte Apex Legends’ın da Steam’e 2020 yılı içerisinde dahil edilmesi bekleniyor. Steam’in de kullanıcı sayısını arttıracağını söylemek mümkün.
Oyun, çıktığı ilk üç gün 10 milyon indirme sayısına ulaşırken bu rakam ilk haftaya 25 milyon, bir ayda ise 50 milyon olmuştu. Apex Legends, Fortnite’ın Twitch’teki bir günde en çok saat izlenme rekorunu da kırmıştı.
